In a recent interview with People Magazine, Demi Lovato discussed some of her future career moves, which unfortunately includes quitting her hit TV series Sonny With A Chance! As we have already reported, the show will be renamed So Random! and be more of a sketch show than a sitcom. Here's what Demi had to say on the topic:
"It made sense for me to go ahead and leave the show to focus on my music. It’s kind of sad for me that a chapter of my life has ended but there couldn’t be a better time for me to move on. I don’t think going back to Sonny would be healthy for my recovery. Being in front of a camera would make me nervous."
And here's what a Disney Channel rep had to say about the issue:
"We respect Demi’s decision to focus fulltime on her music and not immediately return to her acting career. She is a talented young woman and our hearts are with her as she continues to take action to improve her health and bounce back from adversity."While we are very sad to see Demi go, we're glad that she is making what she believes to be the best decision for her.
i wonder what kind of sketches will they do and if they are good without Demi Lovato in them
ReplyDeleteDemi, Best wishes and If Music is your top priority then do it. Let nothing get in your way, critizism is every where dont worry about that. As a musician myself, keep being a great influence and there are many ways to find a fresh breath of air when in doubt.

ReplyDeleteI totally luved Sonny With a Chance! I watched every episode and I always had something recorded! Well, I kno how much music means 2 ppl and I can't blame Demi cuz I luv music too. I'm sure Demi will b succeed in her music and in finding who she wants to be.
