ABC Orders Full Season Pick-Ups for "Better With You" and "No Ordinary Family"

ABC has just announced that it will be ordering back-nines for two of it's new shows, "Better With You" and "No Ordinary Family". We personally love 'Family', and have heard that 'Better' is also hilarious!

October Breaks Record for Our Most-Visited Month Ever!

When The Disney Flame first launched in July, we had a very good month. But as school drew nearer, visitor numbers dropped to almost half of what we had experienced in our first month. Luckily, this month seems to be the end of that trend. This month we have had over 1,500 visitors! We know it's not much to brag about compared to well-estabilished websites, but we think it's a good start.

Taylor Swift appeared on Live With Regis and Kelly yesterday and talked about some funny things. Including following a girl wearing a Taylor Swift shirt in her car in Nashville!

We're really happy for Taylor as her new album 'Speak Now' is doing GREAT and has been on top at iTunes since it's release monday at midnight!

Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus Filing for Divorce

The couple confirmed this sad news to the press today after People Magazine ran an article about it yesterday. The couple had been together for 17 years. They had three kids together: Miley, Braison, and Noah. They also have three others, two adopted and one from one of Billy's prior relationships. Billy Ray and Tish exchanged vows together in December of 1992.


We are very saddened by this news. Miley will certainly be upset at the MTV EMA's in about two weeks.

New Taylor Swift "Speak Now" Target Commercial!

Target has released this new commercial early today just in time for Taylor Swift's huge "Speak Now" album launch at midnight tonight!


In the video, Taylor tells about her first crush and what her dreams were in the fourth grade... in a very funny way!

Disney Pixar has just posted a brand new trailer for their upcoming movie, "Cars 2"! In the movie, Mater and Lightning travel the world and are... spies? Yes, spies! The movie will arrive in theaters next June.

Disney to Pay At Least $115 Million to Paramount for 'Iron Man 3' and 'The Avengers'

Many people have been wondering: "After The Avengers, what can Marvel do?". Well, it's the obvious choice: Iron Man 3. Today, Disney announced that the next movie in the Iron Man series is set to be released on May 3, 2013. The date makes sense since the last two Iron Man's have both been released in the first week of May, and faired very well.


The announcement of Iron Man 3's May 3, 2013 release date came as Disney paid Paramount $115 million to take over the rights to distribute Iron Man 3 and The Avengers in 2012. Paramount will keep the rights to next year's Captain America: The First Avenger and 2011's Thor, as well as the previously released Iron Man and Iron Man 2.


After Iron Man 3 is released, it and any other new Marvel movie films will be distributed by Disney.

JONAS L.A. No Longer Listed on Disney Channel's Website.

Many rumors have been flying around the internet about JONAS L.A. not getting renewed for a third season, and now it seems to be confirmed.


Before a few minutes ago, Disney Channel had this listed on the top of their website:

You can see JONAS L.A. listed third to the left.

But now, Disney Channel is listing their shows like this:

As you can see, they have removed this summer's Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam and JONAS L.A., and added next month's Avalon High and Shake It Up!

Do you think that this means it's over for the Jo Bros. TV series? If you're a true fan, there might still be enough time to send in a letter demanding more JONAS! 

New 'Shake It Up!" Website Working!

Disney Channel.com has officially launched the new Shake It Up! portion of their website! The website includes games, quizzes, wallpaper, videos, and more. Shake It Up! will premiere on November 7th on Disney Channel.

ABC's New "Skating With The Stars"

ABC has just announced a new series titled "Skating With the Stars"! The show will premiere on November 22 and follow the same format as "Dancing With The Stars", only with ice skating. The first cast will be revealed November 2, during the "Dancing With The Stars" results show.

Season 4 of Wizards of Waverly Place to Premiere November 12

On the Wizards season finale tomorrow, Alex and her family will find themselves in danger, being held against their will by a government agency aware of their wizardly powers. The events in the episode will change the lives of the Russos forever!

Their lives will take another freaky turn when the fourth season premieres Friday, November 12, right after the premiere of Avalon High! In the premiere, Alex accidentally jeopardizes the future for herself and her brothers Justin and Max, after she's tricked into revealing the family secret.

It looks like the last season of WOWP, although Selena and her costars will be filming a sequel to last year's Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie, which is set to begin production in 2011.

Taylor Swift "Back to December" Available on iTunes!

Taylor Swift's newest iTunes single from her upcoming album, "Speak Now" is now available. The song was released overnight, and has already assumed the #6 position! This is the second of three songs leading up to her new album's release on October 22.

You can listen to the song below! Her next iTunes single will be released next Monday and be titled "Mean".

JONAS L.A. Ready to Be Cancelled!

Do you want more JONAS L.A.? If you do, you better act quickly!

Since most of the Jonas Brothers' fans are getting too old for them, Disney hasn't been showing many signs in renewing their show for a third season. Plus, but each of the brothers have started working on their own projects. Nick has been keeping busy with Les Mis in London, Joe is working on his first solo album, and now that Kevin has a wife, can a Kevin Jr. be that far away?

Despite the odds, the producers of JONAS L.A. aren't giving up. Producer Lester Lewis took to Twitter to start a letter writing campaign. He's asking fans to send in letters, not emails, to the Disney Channel demanding more Jo Bros. He says that letters show you care more, and Disney is more likely to read them compared to emails.

But Lewis is warning fans that it's going to take "A LOT of letters to make a difference." So, send letters, send letters, and send more letters!

Justin Bieber to Get.... Nail Polish Line?

It is being reported that teen superstar, Justin Bieber will be getting his own line of nail polish. The colors will be released under the Nicole by OPI brand and the collection will be titled “One Less Lonely Girl.”

There will be six different colors:

- One Less Lonely Glitter (Pale Purple)
- Prized Possession Purple (Grape)
- Give Me The First Dance (Silver)
- Me + Blue (Metallic Blue)
- O.M.B! (Metallic Red)
- Step 2 the Beat of My Heart (Heart-Shaped Specks)

Selena Gomez to Perform at Z100's 2010 Jingle Ball!

Z100 has just announced on their website that one of the performers at this year's Jingle Ball will be Selena Gomez! The only other performer announced so far is Katy Perry, but many people are speculating that the person to the right of Selena is Justin Bieber!

We just watched Miley Cyrus' new video for "Who Owns My Heart", but it is sadly even worse than her "Can't Be Tamed" music video.

Disney's 15th Annual "Food & Wine Festival" at Epcot Opens Today!

Every year, Disney's Epcot park holds their annual Food & Wine Festival. Today marks the 15th anniversary of  this special occasion. Today also happens to be the day that I, along with my family, will be leaving for Disney World from our hometown, Nashville, Tennessee.

We are very excited because we have never been able to attend the Food & Wine Festival before. We know that there will be good food from all around the world, plus the wonderful magic of Disney.
