Will 'Sonny With A Chance' Get A Third Season?

With all of the Demi Lovato drama, we're starting to think that Disney will cancel it's popular TV show, "Sonny With A Chance", or Demi will quit. Disney has voiced concern about Demi's conditions, and it is quite possible for them to cancel her show for her health. Since we don't know the contract situation, we're not sure if she is legally obligated to film more episodes, even a third season. And, while it would be the right thing to do to cancel the show, Disney has often done whatever it takes to get more money out of something.

For example, Miley Cyrus really didn't want to do a fourth season of Hannah Montana, but Disney forced her to, since the show has made the Walt Disney Company over one billion dollars in revenue.

'Shake It Up' Premiere is the Highest Disney Channel Premiere EVER!

Shake It Up, the newest Disney Channel Original Series, premiered last night to huge numbers! The premiere had over 6.2 million viewers, the highest series premiere for the channel EVER! It followed a strong 7.1 million viewer lead-in from a one-hour Hannah Montana Forever, which is also the highest numbers for 'Hannah' in over three years.

We're so happy for the cast of Shake It Up, which is bound to be renewed for a second season! We also can't wait to see what kind of numbers the season four premiere of Wizards of Waverly Place gets next Friday, right after the new Disney Channel Original Movie, Avalon High.

New 'Wizards of Waverly Place' Season 4 Opening Credits!

Since 'Wizards' is nearing it's end, and the current opening credits were shot about four years ago, Disney has made a new opening sequence for their hit television series.


Even though the sound quality is poor, you can sneak a peak at some new footage of the cast from season four. Even though Gregg Sulkin was rumored to be added to the main cast, no one has been added or taken away from the credits.

"Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure" Trailer!

Ashley Tisdale has just posted the following video to her Facebook page, the trailer for her all-new movie, "Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure"! As stated in the preview, the movie will be released on Disney DVD and Blu-ray next spring, but it is unknown whether or not the film will be shown on Disney Channel. No matter how, we can't wait to see it!

Update on Demi Lovato Rehab Situation

Demi Lovato has been going through a hard time this week after checking herself into rehab for personal issues, and now we have some more information about what led to this breakdown of hers.


A source recently told E! News the following: 

"On tour, they were calling her 'Demi Drama'. After she split with Joe, it was just a whole bunch of drama, very awkward. Everyone tried to be professional, but you could tell it was wearing down Demi. It was a taboo subject to bring up, but clearly she wasn’t over Joe. The [Jonas] boys got a break after the tour, but Demi went a nonstop promo campaign for Camp Rock 2 and was pushing the single for that movie. It really was too much ask of a girl that young. She just couldn’t handle it. I think Demi has a lot of issues she is dealing with, but at the source of them all is a great deal of stress."

They continued, saying:

"She just lost it right at the airport in front of everyone. The [Jonases'] dad basically said right there, ‘That’s it. You’re going home.’ "

According to the source, Demi had been fighting with one of the backup dancers and then started making verbal threats toward Joe’s girlfriend, Ashley Greene, who was with them at the airport.

Demi Lovato Checks into Rehab for 'Physical and Emotional' Treatment

Rumors over Demi Lovato have been flaring over this past weekend. First, it was reported that she was in a relationship with Justin Bieber, then many websites reported that she had deleted her Twitter account, then she was diagnosed with asthma, and now it is being reported that Demi has checked into rehab for "physical and emotional" treatment.

A rep for Demi stated:

"Demi Lovato left her tour early this weekend in order to seek medical treatment for emotional and physical issues she has dealt with for some time. Demi has decided to take personal responsibility for her actions and seek help. She is doing just that. She regrets not being able to finish her tour, but is looking forward to getting back to work in the near future."

We know that in the past Demi has been rumored to have been cutting herself and have an eating disorder and now her fans are wondering if this is the reason she is currently in rehab.

A source supposedly close to Demi told People Magazine that the trauma of being bullied in school has stayed with Demi and that:

"She fought through eating disorders and has struggled with cutting. Demi is taking control by getting help."
