'Pirates of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides' Crosses the $1 Billion Mark at the Worldwide Box-Office!

While it's done fairly bad in America, the fourth film in the Pirates series has officially done what only one other movie in the series has, made a billion dollars! It is the third Disney film to do so in the past 18 months (the others were Alice In Wonderland and Toy Story 3) and the fourth Disney film out of the eight films on the list. While it is the last film on the list of billion dollar movies, Dead Man's Chest, the other Pirates film on the list is only one spot ahead of it, making it possible that this movie will become the highest-grossing Pirates film.

'Cars 2' Crosses the Finish Line at the Box-Office with $68 Million

Pixar's latest animated flick, Cars 2, has raked in $68 million at the box-office this weekend, beating Cameron Diaz's Bad Teacher, the other new wide release this week. While it got the worst reviews for any Pixar movie so far, we just saw the movie today and loved it, even more than the original Cars! What do you think?
