Demi Lovato's Third Album Put On Hold

@DisneyRatings, Disney Channel's official ratings Twitter account, has just announced that Demi Lovato's third R&B album, which was originally planned for release in March, has been put on hold until further notice as a result of Demi's recent violent actions, rehab check-in, lawsuit, and photo scandal.

When asked about the album on Twitter, @DisneyRatings replied:
"We have contacted Hollywood Record's publicist, and (a) release date has not been set yet. The album is put on hold."
What do you think about this? We were personally really looking forward to Demi's new album, but according to many rumors floating around, Demi may be fired from Hollywood Records and Disney Channel before she's out of rehab!

Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron SPLIT!

It's official, one of Hollywood's hottest couples for the past three years has split, says an insider to Us Magazine. "It was mutual," the source explains. "They have been together for so long. It just ran its course." The source also insists that "They are still talking and still friends. There's no drama. No one cheated. They just grew up."
Vanessa and Zac met in 2005 while filming the first High School Musical movie, and started dating two years later. So, what do you think of the split? We think it is very sad, and now we know that the rumors of them hosting X Factor are not true.

Also  according to the magazine, the couple have been going out on many dates and their relationship is now starting to get more serious. Selena is also supposedly starting to tell all of her friends how much she likes Justin!

Chelsea Staub Changes Her Name!

Chelsea Staub, or now Kane, is done with JONAS L.A., making it a great time to get away from the "Disney image" with a name change. Chelsea's full name is Chelsea Kane Staub, and by her family and friends, she is called Chelsea Kane, no Staub. So, she's changing her name officially Chelsea Kane.

Do you like the new name, or are you like us and don't think it matters, as long as she's the same Chelsea!

Brandon Mychal Smith Hospitalized

This morning on the set of Skating WIth The Stars, Sonny With A Chance star Brandon Mychal Smith (Nico) was hospitalzied after having breathing problems on set. Brandon reportedly turned up at practice for tonight not feeling well. After complaining of shortness of breath, around 11:45 a.m. (pacific time), producers decided to dial 911.

"[Brandon] was taken by ambulance to the hospital. We are waiting to hear an update, a rep for Brandon told E! News. "We are not sure if he will be skating tonight."

Also, fellow skater Brooke Castille got her sliced her finger open a few hours later while practicing with her partner Jonny Mosely. Please keep the Smith and Castille family in your prayers.

Report: Vannesa Hudgens and Zac Efron to Be Judges on the US Version of The X Factor!

Rumor has it that Simon Cowell has decided that the US version of his hit UK show, The X Factor, should be judged by one person from the UK (not including himself) and two people from the US. According to these rumors,  Cowell wants Cheryl Cole to be the UK judge and has high hopes in making celebrity couple Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens as the American judges.
Here’s what a source said about the couple:
"They are two of the biggest stars in the States and will make the American X Factor the biggest show in the world. They are more popular than Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie with under-30s in America. They’re in huge demand and would have to turn down a lot of work in order to do this."
We really like American Idol, and are planning on watching the US version of The X Factor when it premieres next fall, so we'd love it if Zanessa judged it with Simon!

Box-Office: Hairy Versus 'Harry', Which One is the Winner?

Disney has just announced their earning estimates for their new animated princess comedy, Tangled. Compared to the other studios' estimates, Tangled has earned the most money this weekend! This isn't much of a surprise, as it is the holiday season and many families are together, and a lot of them are going to the movies.

Disney to Shoot "Pirates of The Caribbean 5" and "6" Back-to-Back

Disney has just announced it's plans to not only make two more sequels to it's hugely popular film series Pirates of Caribbean, but they will be shooting them back-to-back. They had planned on doing this for the up-and-coming fourth, along with the fifth film, but the plans fell through when the film lost it's director.

Shooting films back-to-back is much cheaper, and a guaranteed way to keep cast members, but there is the risk of the first film doing bad at the box-office, and then being stuck with a sequel that is sure to fail. We're really glad that they're making two more movies, but we hope that the first film doesn't bomb so we can see the second one.
